It is important everyone keep in mind why the "BIG $10 PUSH" is necessary, so I modified the explanation below to be in better alignment with our ongoing efforts.
The following is a written explanation of what the "Big Push" is and why it's necessary to make it work to ensure April 7th Launch.
POSSIBILITY OF FUNDING BY INVESTORS
As you may already be
aware, I've met with several investors over the last couple weeks who all agree our initiative is unlike any business plan they've seen in their combined 150 years of experience. One team's advisor is a business admin professor for a nationally known university, the other a 40 year sales executive for several Fortune 500 companies and a two more are couple of professional athletes who become venture capitalist. During the course of these meetings, I was asked the same 3
questions:
Q1: If I have over 700 Active Clients, most of whom are either unwilling or unable to pay $10 a month, how is that to work in their favor? The underlying question being, how were they going to get paid.
Q2: What good is it to have over $600K in receivables if I refuse to aggressively pursue collection?
Q3: If my clients are only interested in SV&A to get to TMktP then why should they invest in SV&A? The second part of that being none of the investors were
interested in investing in my Costa Rican business.
As much as I would like the quick fix of a hefty cash infusion, these encounters reminded me of why I haven't wanted to rely on anyone outside outside of our team to fund The Marketplace launch, thus we now have "THE BIG $10 PUSH."
WHAT IS THE $10 PUSH?
I'm asking everyone to make their best effort to pay $10 at least one time this month. If everyone paid $10 once, we would have $7,000 that would actually do a lot towards providing the bare necessities that will
make this April 7th launch really happen. Ultimately, I'm hoping everyone put in $10 a week for the last 4 weeks of March, but for those that are really strapped, paying $10 once this month would still help us reach our goal.
We currently have just over 700 clients active and in good standing, meaning, having verified their CSL with SV&A and either paid towards their invoices or claimed HARDSHIP/RELIEF STATUS. If
everyone responded we would have $28K by March 31st, but I would be just as happy if we could accomplish half.

THESE ARE OUR NEEDS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY:
- $1,398 - Monthly and pressing yearly operating expenses
- $1,500 deposit - Teams of
Programmers and coders to finish building TMktP’s front and back offices.
- $1,500 - Complete production of videos needed to counter effects of existing blog attacks
- $5,000 - ($2,500 past due - $2,500 retainer) Attorney fees to counter future attacks.
- $1,000 - $2,000 - CPA to complete financials for approval of business loans over
$50K.
- $2,500 - Acquire office space, furniture and supplies.
As a member of the Veteran’s Employment Committee I have my pick of the best available staff in the community, but we haven't yet been able to sustain an office where they/we can work and grow.
KEEPING THE TEAM IN THE LOOP
I'll provide running tallies of our progress several days throughout each week. Totals will be announce during Monday night conference calls. The only reason I can think for us missing our next scheduled launch date is if we simply have
not raised the funds needed to accomplish the priorities I listed above but the Rumor Mongers will be quick to suggest I have taken in tens of thousands of dollars and will be fast away spending while spreading false hope of a launch that will never come. Fortunately, you'll be able to do the math yourselves.

FYI: I have meetings
all morning, then Veteran's Justice Outreach/Veteran's Treatment Court (VJO/VTC) tomorrow which is how I end my Fridays, so I'll be reachable again on Saturday.
